Captain OlafWORKLeslie Work aged 93. A loving husband to the late Norah and latterly to the late Doreen, devoted father of Ann and grandfather to Olaf, James and Ailsa. It is with great sadness that Ann and family announce that Olaf 'crossed the bar' on the evening of Tuesday 24th August 2010. He passed away peacefully with Ann by his side and under the generous care of the staff at the Pinewood Nursing Home in Callander. There will be a private family funeral after which Olaf's ashes will be buried in his family's grave at St. Olaf's Cemetery overlooking Scapa Flow in his beloved island homeland of Orkney.
